Would you live in a house made of water? Someone said that there was once a body that was a house that was a plot of land; it was a lifework, substrate, warmth and breath. Someone said: someone imagined. Someone should have said home, and they did. It is. The mind creates and assembles: the temperature the body needs, minimum residue to furnish the world, an organ that lives and is lived. Would you live? The home needs to be light. A house: organic material, amniotic fluid, oscillation in contact. Someone imagined: and if your house were a house of water, would you live? Fish in thought, fish in the abdomen embrace an idea. The skin speculates its warmth. Judgement speculates the possibilities of making a womb that was once a farm project itself onto the earth. Intimacy between wood and ocean. Trust the substance, respect the materials, observe the verbs: think, conceive, sketch, rehearse, plot, play, compose. There was (in the past) a mental image in the head’s inner garden / there is (in the present) a region that is forgotten / there will be (in the future) a community around the rain. Is a house rooted? Tell me: if they told you that she made a house of water, would you live? If they told you to grow gills, if they told you to float in the secret of moisture, if they told you to return to the seed. If they told you the world is vast and you are small, would you live?
