Step 1 – Cook hot dogs for 5 minutes in plenty of boiling water with salt, oregano and garlic. Set aside but keep warm.
Step 2 – Peel and chop tomatoes in small cubes. Season with oil and salt.
Step 3 – Assemble the hot dogs: slice hot dog buns down the middle. Warm buns in the oven or on a grill. Insert cooked hot dog. Add tomato, sauerkraut and relish. Top with mayonnaise.
Step 4 – Optional: serve with mustard and red chili paste.
