INGREDIENTES

  • 2 kg (4 lbs 6 oz, approx. 40) fresh shelled macha clams
  • ½ cup dry white wine or sherry
  • ½ cup unsalted butter in cubes
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Parsley, finely chopped.

INSTRUCCIONES

  • Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F).
  • Step 2 – Clean and wash the clams. Tap them lightly and place each clam in the middle of a shell that has been set aside. Place them on a baking tray.
  • Step 3 – Drizzle a little wine or sherry over the clams, season with salt and pepper and top with pieces of butter and grated cheese. Grill the clams in the oven for 5 to 6 minutes or until the clams turn pink. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
