Rice Pudding

INGREDIENTES

  • 7 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 cup rice
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • ½ cup golden raisins/sultanas
  • Ground cinnamon

INSTRUCCIONES

  • Step 1 – Cook sugar and butter in a pan on medium heat, stirring until golden.
  • Step 2 – Add rice and mix well.
  • Step 3 – Add 6 cups cold water and cinnamon sticks and cook on medium heat until rice is soft. Add condensed milk and cook, stirring constantly.
  • Step 4 – In a separate bowl, beat the egg with 200 g (7 oz) evaporated milk. Add the remaining milk and raisins/sultanas to this mix and pour onto the rice in the saucepan. Stir and cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Step 5 – Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Serve cold, sprinkled with ground cinnamon.
