Salmon and Avocado Ceviche

Salmon and Avocado Ceviche | Marca Chile

INGREDIENTES

  • 1.2 kg (2 lbs 10 oz) fresh salmon fillet
  • 1 onion, sliced lengthwise
  • ½ cup celery, chopped
  • ¼ green bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp fresh oregano
  • ½ cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste, 4 lemons
  • ½ cup clams, abalone or fish broth
  • 1½ large ripe avocados, cubed

INSTRUCCIONES

  • Step 1 – Clean salmon fillet, removing any bones and dark parts. Cut into 1½ cm (2/3 in) cubes and refrigerate.
  • Step 2 – Place salmon, onion, celery, green bell pepper, fresh chopped oregano, cilantro and salt in a bowl and stir.
  • Step 3 – Add lemon juice and broth.
  • Step 4 – Add avocado and gently combine. Correct the seasoning to taste and mix well. Serve cold.
  • Step 5 – Decorate with baby cilantro leaves.
