Step 1 – Form a well in the flour. Sprinkle with yeast. Add the cooked squash and warm butter.
Step 2 – Knead until a homogeneous dough forms. Add salt and, if necessary, a small amount of water from the pot used to cook the squash. The dough is ready when it does not stick to your hands. Let rest 20 minutes covered in a plastic bag.
Step 3 – Knead again and form 40 g balls out of the dough. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough and make four incisions in each one.
Step 4 – Fry in a deep pan of oil until golden brown.
Step 5 – Serve hot with cooked pork shoulder and mashed avocado.
Step 6 – This is traditionally served in the evening with tea or coffee.
