Step 1 – Trim the beef and insert alternating pieces of carrot, celery and garlic into small slits cut throughout the beef.
Step 2 – Season with salt, paprika and oregano.
Step 3 – Heat oil in a frying pan and brown the beef on all sides.
Step 4 – Place the onion, bell pepper, tomato, salt, water and browned beef in a pressure cooker and cook for about 35 to 40 minutes. When done, remove beef and cut into thick slices.
Step 5 – Make a gravy by blending the remaining cooking liquid and vegetables. Serve beef with gravy and mashed potatoes or rice.
