½ kg (1 lb 2 oz) new potatoes, cooked in their skin and peeled
1 cup cream, ½ cup grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Crab claws and finely chopped parsley for garnish
Step 1 – Shred and clean the crab meat, removing pieces of claw or shell, then set aside.
Step 2 – Separately, soak the bread in milk for 15 minutes. Combine using your hands and set aside.
Step 3 – Sweat the onion in butter in a pan. Add the minced garlic, paprika and oregano. Add the oyster sauce and a little water. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the onion is translucent. Add the soaked bread and mix well. Cook for a few minutes over low heat.
Step 4 – Add the crab meat and ground green chili pepper. Finally, add the potatoes, cream and grated cheese and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and place in individual clay bowls.
Step 5 – Garnish with hot crab claws and a hardboiled egg mixed with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
