50 women participated in this year’s version and had the opportunity to present different projects linked to innovation and high social impact. For the second consecutive year, Imagen de Chile was represented on the jury for the event.
Sustainability and equal opportunities were the themes of the eleventh version of the “Her Global Impact Challenge”, an event that culminated on July 22. First place went to the Academia Latinoamericana de emprendimiento y empoderamiento para mujeres con discapacidad (ALEEMUD), directed by Carolina García, which seeks to promote labor integration and entrepreneurship for disabled women throughout Latin America.
In this year’s version, 50 women had the opportunity to present their projects and five of them made it to the final. For the second consecutive year, and within the framework of the alliance with Her Global Impact, the jury for the final included among its members the Executive Director of Imagen de Chile, Constanza Cea.
The award consisted of 4 million Chilean pesos to finance a national or international postgraduate course, courtesy of the Mustakis Foundation; Intellectual property advice from the Santa Cruz company; and personalized mentoring in developing a sales pitch, from Vantrust Capital.
