Both companies are part of a consortium called Highly Innovative Fuels (HIF), formed by Siemens Energy, Enel’s subsidiaries in Chile and several companies from the Latin American country. HIF has obtained the final permits to produce green hydrogen and climate-neutral fuels under a project called “Haru Oni”. The Italian Minister of Ecological Transition has given his blessing to the multi-technology approach to the environmental problem.
