“Tail of the Monkey” Coffee Liqueur | Marca Chile

INGREDIENTES

  • 4 tbsp instant coffee
  • ¼ cup boiling water to dissolve coffee
  • 1 lt (4 cups) whole milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 whole cloves
  • ⅛ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • ½ cup aguardiente
  • ground cinnamon

INSTRUCCIONES

  • Step 1 – Dissolve instant coffee in boiling water. Set aside.
  • Step 2 – In a separate saucepan, add milk, cinnamon stick, cloves and nutmeg. Bring to boil and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Add coffee, vanilla essence and condensed milk. Chill for 4 hours.
  • Step 3 – Add aguardiente or other distilled drink. Stir well, strain to remove spices, pour into a bottle and refrigerate.
  • Step 4 – Serve with ice and ground cinnamon sprinkled on the surface of each glass.
