President of Viña Errázuriz
The President of Viñedos Familia Chadwick has been an ambassador of Chilean wine for the past three decades. Eduardo was recently named “Decanter Man of the Year” for his notable career.
His wineries (Chadwick and Seña) are considered some of the best in the world by international critics and media outlets, and have received major awards, including the Robert Parker Extraordinary Winery Award for Best Chilean Winery, which was given to Viña Errázuriz in 2017. Chadwick and his team have traveled the world for decades, promoting the quality and potential of Chilean wines.
He joined Viña Errázuriz in 1983 after earning a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Católica de Chile. He also traveled to the Bordeaux Wine Institute to learn about wine.
In 2004, he designed a successful strategy for calling attention to the potential of Chilean wine: a blind tasting held in Berlin. Viñedo Chadwick and Seña placed first in the tasting, leading the magazine Decanter to name them “Legends of Wine.” James Suckling has also awarded them 100 points on four occasions.
